Food trucks often let you avoid onerous business licensing with the city. They have their own license already. You can avoid having the "food service" inside your event because they park just outside. They assume all the risk so you don't have to. It's well worth considering. (Brian)RoamingHunger.com
In case anyone needs to find food truck(s) for their event one of our board members sent me this link: ROAMINGHUNGER.COM
You fill out some basic information (date of event, how many attending, what do you want to serve, etc.) and they email blast the info out to the relevant trucks in your area who can then get back to you to get details
if they want to do your event.
Wish I'd know about this two years ago! Or event a couple of months ago. Our event is less than 6 weeks away.

We use http://foodtrucksin.com. It has a zipcode search and worked better for us in Raleigh. This will probably change over time, too, so Google and Bing your way to success for your area.
