Oregon - Portland (Columbia-Willamette ) Pagan Pride Day

Columbia-Willamette Pagan Pride Day, on Sunday September 20th 2015 from 10am to 5pm, at Oaks Amusement Park. It will be a day of celebrating our diversity in our community. Best part is getting in for Free, yes it is Free to attend. We will of course gladly accept your non-perishable food or toiletry donations to Esther's Pantry, Animal Food for The Pongo Fund, a local non-profit that gives pet food to low income and homeless people so they don't have to give up their pets due to lack of funds, or magical items to send to Soldiers overseas.

There will be several workshops, lots of vendors, service providers, kids corner and a harvest ritual. For additional fun you can choose to go ride the rides along the midway and/or compete in the day pavilion decorating contest.

You are welcome to bring a picnic for you and your group. You can even bring a BBQ as long as you take the coals away with you. No alcohol--Oaks Park rules.

Updates will be posted on our Facebook page, www.owow.org and on witchvox.

Blessed Be

Paganism for the sake of this event can be broadly defined as earth based and/or poly theistic faiths that are not judeo-christin-islamic-muslim in nature. Just in case you were wondering.

Greetings,

Columbia-Willamette Pagan Pride Day is approaching fast.  We have already begun filling up vendor spots, group spots and the workshops are almost full. We will again be at Oaks Amusement Park. In addition to our own event there will be other events happening that day with an estimated 3000 to 3500 people in the park that day. This is a great event to support the pagan community, reach new customers, and make some money.  You are welcome to pay for your space by mailing a check or using the INTUIT pay now button on our Facebook page. Remember group booths which will not be selling anything are free.

 * In hopes of helping to advertise our vendors and groups in the next 2 weeks we are going to start showcasing our vendors on our Facebook page. Please email Kanani a picture of your group or business logo, a copy of a website or link you would like us to use for your business and any specifics you would like us to mention about you in the post. We are going to start showcasing 2-3 vendors/ groups each week to help get the word out! If you have already registered and paid please email this to us so we can start showcasing you!! *

We will be setting up the Marketplace under an outdoor 100x40 foot permanent tent structure. Inner ring spaces do not require your own canopy, but cannot have electricity. Outer ring spaces do require you to have a pop up canopy and can have limited electricity. (Be sure to let us know if you will need electricity)

Service providers and groups will be placed in the lawn area and will also need a pop up canopy. Oaks park has a couple of limitations: No sales of ready to eat food, no sales of alcohol, selling blades is ok as long as customer takes the blade directly to their car, No stakes or anything else can be put in the ground. I suggest for the stake issue filling milk jugs with water or sand and tying the jug to the legs to weigh the pop up down.

We will again have a kids corner and musical entertainment. Which seemed to be really fun and help encourage this ti be a family friendly event.

If you have any questions feel free to contact Kanani @ thecraftygoddess@gmail.com or her cell (503) 351-3447.

I look forward to seeing your application come in for a Pagan Pride day. Each year keeps getting better and better and we thank our vendors for helping us grow and be successful.
